How to get here

How to get to our hostel Tamarindo Costa Rica from San Jose:

A) Most expansive and fastest: Nature Air provides flights from San Jose Airport to Tamarindo. Once you are here take a taxi to our hostel. Please check www.natureair.com for schedule and prices. The ride from airport to our hostel should be around $6

B) Private Shuttle companies. Please reach out to Interbus or Gray Line Costa Rica for schedule and prices. Depending on the company the price may vary but it’s around $30-$40 and the trip takes 5-6 hours depending on traffic.

C) “Chicken Bus” You can catch either an “Alfaro” or “Tralapa” bus from San Jose directly to our hostel in Tamarindo. Cost is around $10 and the trip duration is around 7-8 hours. From the bus stop you need to walk up the street 5-7 minutes to reach our hostel Tamarindo Costa Rica

D) “Chicken Bus” You can also catch a bus from San Jose to either Liberia or Santa Cruz and from here another bus or taxi to Tamarindo.If you take a taxi from Liberia or St.Cruz make sure NOT to pay more then $60!

How to get to our hostel in Tamarindo from Liberia:

3-4 days prior to your arrival please send us your full name and flight details and we will arrange a shuttle pick up for you at the airport. The cost is $20 per person and you pay directly to the driver. They will pick you up at the airport at your arrival time and bring you directly to our hostel Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

We can book a shuttle for you to/from SJO to Tamarindo

Several days prior to your arrival please send me your flight details and I can arrange a shuttle for you from SJO to Tamarindo - the payment is due via PayPal. The last shuttle leaves at 3.00PM from SJO, if you arrive after this time it is better to stay over night in SJO and come next day, shuttle next day leaves at 8.00AM.
You can also catch a bus to St.Cruz and then a taxi if you arrive after 3.00PM
